Guozhuang dance (Diqing Guozhuang dance)
Applicant: Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province
Guozhuang dance, also known as "Guozhuo", "Gezhuang" and "Zhuo", is one of the three major Tibetan folk dances. It is distributed in Changdu and Naqu of Tibet, ABA and Ganzi of Sichuan, Diqing of Yunnan and Tibetan inhabited areas of Qinghai and Gansu. Guozhuang can be divided into "big Guozhuang" for large-scale religious sacrificial activities, "middle Guozhuang" for traditional folk festivals and "small Guozhuang" for family and friends gathering, with different scales and functions. There are also areas divided into "mass Guozhuang" and "Lama Guozhuang", town Guozhuang and agricultural and pastoral Guozhuang. During the dance, men and women usually hold hands in a semicircle in a circle, with one person leading the way and one man and one woman answering questions and answering questions. They sing to each other repeatedly without musical instrument accompaniment. The whole dance is composed of two parts, which are slow first and fast later. The basic movements are "shaking and crossing legs", "rolling and turning" and "squatting and crossing legs". The dancer's arm mainly changes the dance posture by lifting, swinging and shaking. The formation moves clockwise. The circle is big and small, and occasionally changes the "dragon tail" pattern.
Diqing Tibetan Guozhuang dance is widely distributed in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. According to the dance image of Tang Dynasty Tibetan portrait stele unearthed from shigujiaozi village of Lijiang, Guozhuang dance has a history of more than 1000 years.
Banzilan town of Deqin County, zhantang town and xiaozhongzhong town of Shangri La city are the most representative of Diqing Tibetan Guozhuang dance. Penzilan presents a series of etiquette procedures in the form of Guozhuang singing and dancing when entertaining guests, including "blessing Guozhuang", "Zhuke Guozhuang", "praising Guozhuang", "meeting Guozhuang", "farewell Guozhuang", "detaining Guozhuang", "seeing off Guozhuang", "praying for Guozhuang", etc., which are very rare in all Tibetan areas in China. The tune is divided into four parts: Yao, Zhuojin, Xiazhuo and zhuocao. Shangri la Guozhuang can be divided into ancient and new styles. "ChenI" is an ancient Guozhuang with ancient lyrics and dance steps. It has a strong sacrificial nature, special actions and lyrics, and is loved by religious circles and the elderly. It is a new dance, which is a new song and dance made up with different times. Diqing Tibetan Guozhuang is rich in songs, dances and lyrics, which are composed of three sentences. When it comes to festivals, new houses and weddings, people of all ages, men and women, gather to dance all night to express their joy and blessing.
Diqing Tibetan Guozhuang contains rich Tibetan cultural connotation, complete and diverse forms, distinctive regional characteristics, strong national style, deep mass base, which contains traditional humanistic spirit of friendship and unity, and has high artistic and social value.
