Mongolian folk songs are rich in content, free in rhythm, delicate in emotion, high pitched in tune, melodious and tactful, and deep in aftertaste. It can be divided into long tune folk songs and short tune folk songs. The long tune folk songs are generally sung in Mongolian, with wide space, long breath and deep emotion. The use of vibrato is exquisite and unique, and the melody and singing style reflect the vast and rough characteristics of grassland folk songs. The short tune folk songs are mainly popular in the semi farming and semi pastoral areas where the Mongolian and Chinese live together, and are mostly sung in Chinese, with short space, neat rhythm and beat Fixed, like to use reduplication, simple lyrics, free and flexible.
Guoerluosi Mongolian folk song is a folk song created by Mongolian folk artists in the past dynasties according to real people. It came into being and spread in Guoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Jilin Province. Most of its works were formed between the early 20th century and the 1940s.
Now collected a total of 128 Mongolian folk songs, of which the representative works are "Tao Ketao Hu", "long Mei" and so on. The Mongolian folk songs of Guoerluosi can be sung by both singing and accompaniment. The commonly used accompaniment instruments are Matouqin, Sihu, Mongolian Zheng, etc. During the performance, the singer can sing and play by himself or cooperate with several accompanist musicians. There are various forms of Mongolian folk songs in Guoerluosi, mainly including "taoketaohu", "Genghis Khan's song", "zanma" and other nirindao (wedding banquet praise song), "Longmei", "Miss Gao", "Jinjie" and other yinaga (love song), "father Khan is Nao", "mother teaches son", "ejhen hatun" and other surigalindao (Teaching song), "Jiangmei" and "two girls" Gaomu Dalin Taoism (hate song) such as the song of song, aosi'erma, Haori folk Taoism (wedding song) such as the song of shaen TuYan, Jinliang and the heart of parents, Huhe special music Taoism (children's song) such as the song of bolulai and twelve genera, taiheilin Taoism (sacrifice song) such as the song of segunaidu and ten gods, Bodao (Mongolian Shamanism song) and Andai Taoism (Andai song) And so on.
The Mongolian folk songs of Guoerluosi can be divided into "tulindao" and "yulindao" according to the singing occasions. "Tulindao" is the main song performed in a formal and solemn concert, and "yulindao" is the auxiliary song sung outside the formal occasions. According to the characteristics of music, it can be divided into "Wu RI Tu Dao" and "Bao Gu Yin Dao". Wu RI Tu Dao is a long-term folk song, and "Bao Gu Yin Dao" is a short-term folk song. The long-term folk song has free rhythm, deep emotion, and broad and forthright artistic characteristics. The short-term folk song has neat rhythm, relatively narrow range, and improvisational and flexible artistic characteristics. Generally speaking, there are many short tunes and few long tunes in the Mongolian folk songs of guoerlos. In the development process of nearly one hundred years, the Mongolian folk songs of Guoerluosi have been widely spread among the people.
Guoerluosi Mongolian folk songs are the remains of ancient Guoerluosi folk culture, which embody the national spirit of the local Mongolian people and have important historical and cultural value. In recent decades, with the change of society, the living space of Guoerluosi Mongolian folk songs is shrinking, the inheritors are increasingly scarce, and many songs are facing the loss, so it is urgent to rescue, protect, excavate and organize them.
