Zhu Yangxin's traditional plaster making technique is a traditional hard black plaster making technique for external application in orthopedics and traumatology department. It is famous in Jiangnan for its remarkable curative effect. It is the best traditional pharmaceutical technique in China. Its founder Zhu Yangxin opened "Zhu Yangxin medicine room" (formerly known as "rishengtang") at the foot of Xushan (today's Wushan) in ancient Hangzhou City in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, specializing in orthopedic and traumatological treatment. It has a history of more than 400 years.

At present, Zhu Yangxin's main products are Zhu's Goupi ointment, Wanling Wuxiang ointment, Wuxiang Shanggao, Tonglu ointment, xiaoyanhong ointment, Qingliang ointment, etc., especially Goupi ointment. The formula of these plasters is unique, pure traditional manual operation. Strictly in accordance with the selection of materials, explosives, under Dan, paste collection, detoxification, paste closing, spreading, dosing and other ten steps, the process is complex and exquisite. In particular, it is required to master the key technologies such as "hanging wire", "dripping into beads", "old tenderness" and "chrysanthemum heart and Causeway edge" in the refining process.
