Introduction to black tea production technology (xiaguantuo tea production technology)
Applicant: Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province
Xiaguantuo tea is a kind of pressed tea with a long history. It is named xiaguantuo tea because it was created in Xiaguan, Dali City, Yunnan Province. Xiaguantuo tea is a very typical traditional skill created by Bai people. It evolved from "group tea" in Ming Dynasty. It is made from Yunnan big leaf sun dried green tea as the basic raw material through more than ten processes, such as blending, screening, picking, semi-finished product blending, weighing, steaming, pressing, drying, packaging and so on. Most of them are hand-operated and contain rich regional characteristics Knowledge of surgery.
Xiaguan is located in Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture. The whole Yunnan area has humid air, mild seasons and long sunshine, which is suitable for tea growth. Tuo tea has a long history. In the book Dian Lue written by Xie Zhaohe in Ming Dynasty, it is recorded that "all kinds of tea are used by scholars and common people, and they are steamed and served together", which is the early form of Tuo tea. In 1902, yongchangxiang, a Bai merchant group in Xizhou, Dali, opened the first tea refining plant in Xiaguan to process tight tea and cake tea, marking the birth of Tuocha technology.
Tuo tea production is a special skill. Over the past hundred years, the products produced by Bai people with this skill have been continuously transported to Northwest Yunnan, Tibet and Sichuan through the famous "tea horse ancient road", meeting the living needs of people of all ethnic groups, especially among Tibetans. They have played a very important role in the friendly exchanges among all ethnic groups for more than 100 years.
