Brief introduction of pottery firing technology (Qinzhou nixing pottery firing technology)
Applicant: Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
Qinzhou nixing pottery originated in Tang Dynasty and flourished in Xianfeng Period of Qing Dynasty. The clay materials are hard soil on the West Bank and soft soil on the East Bank of Qinjiang River in Qinzhou City. After mixing the two kinds of soil, the soft and hard soil is suitable, and the mud is pure and delicate. Nixing pottery needs to be fired at about 1200 ℃. The finished product is hard in texture. After grinding and polishing, it presents the colors of ancient copper, dark green, purple red, sky spot, etc. it is delicate, smooth, gorgeous in color, no sand particles, no pores, and non-toxic. After storing tea in nixing teapot for one or two days, the original color and taste of tea can still be maintained. After using for a long time, tea will accumulate in the pot (commonly known as "tea bud"), even if the tea is not put, as long as it is flushed into the boiling water, it will still disperse the fragrance of tea. Nixing flowerpots and vases also have the function of protecting flowers, which can be used to plant or arrange flowers and make them flourish.
