Ruichang, located in the north of Jiangxi Province and the South Bank of the Yangtze River, is the center of the cultural convergence between the north and the south. The paper-cut art spread in Ruichang area of Jiangxi Province has formed a unique style through the inheritance and development of folk artists in past dynasties, and has become an influential folk art in the country. Ruichang paper-cut combines the different characteristics of the north and the south to form its own unique style features, including the delicate, beautiful, rigorous feminine beauty, and the simple, solid, bold masculine beauty. Yin and Yang complement each other, virtual and real, hardness and softness, unique Fengshen. The theme of Ruichang paper-cut is very individual, and the most common theme is the combination of yin and Yang.
