A brief introduction to Siming's southern Ci Poetry:
Applicant: Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province
Siming Southern Ci, commonly known as "Si Ming Shu" and "Ningbo document", mainly spread in Ningbo, Shanghai and other places. It came into being in the late Ming Dynasty and the early Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 300 years. In the history of Ningbo, there were some southern CI guilds in the Siming Dynasty, the most famous of which was the "silk and bamboo singing class" in the Tongzhi Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. A group of actors in the class who are called "wugongzuo" have excellent skills. They are the key figures connecting the preceding and the following in Siming nanci, and have a great influence in the audience. They adapted the wonderful chapters from the traditional bibliography into the performance of "zhezishu", which is loved by the masses.
The southern Ci of Siming is spoken and sung in Ningbo Dialect. The actors are composed of singing, playing, reciting, speaking and expressing. They pay attention to the imitation of the characters' actions in their performance, which is highly required. The libretto is basically a seven character sentence, mostly using tunes and tones such as lazy thrush and 357. The music of the southern Ci of the Ming Dynasty is elegant and elegant, and its singing is generally called "shudiao". The basic singing includes "Fu Diao", "Ci Diao" and "Pinghu Diao". Among them, "Fu tune" is compact and fluent, which is mostly used for narration; "Ci tune" is graceful and lingering, which is mostly used to express the emotion of sadness and excitement; "Pinghu tune" is lively and lively, which is mostly used to express the mood of cheerfulness and boldness. Each of the three tunes has rich coloratura changes, which has had an important impact on other kinds of Ningbo quyi, such as Jiaochuan zoushu, singing news and so on.
The performance of Southern Ci Poetry in Siming usually adopts the form of double stage, with two performers playing Sanxian rap and one playing Yangqin accompaniment; some performers are increased to more than five, and other accompaniment instruments such as pipa, erhu and Sheng Xiao are added. The southern Ci of the Ming Dynasty can be divided into documents and martial arts books. The documents repeat the white words and the martial arts books repeat the work. The traditional repertoire includes two types: long works and short works. Pearl Tower, cause and effect record, jade dragonfly, Dahongpao, jade chain, silk hair margin, liumeitu, contract record and panlongbangle are the classics in the long repertoire, while ten scenes of West Lake and eight immortals shangshou are the representatives of short works.
At present, due to various reasons, the original Southern CI actors of the Ming Dynasty have changed careers, and the only remaining old artists are over the age of old, which leads to the lack of successors of this excellent local folk art. Under this situation, it is urgent to rescue and protect it.
