The origin of town name
The ancient town of Jing'an began in the Qin and Han Dynasties and was subordinate to Xuzhou. Later, it was under the jurisdiction of tongpei. Jing'an has a long history, with villages as far back as Qin and Han Dynasties. The relevant historical records include Laba village, Han village, Mao Village, huodeng village, Xili village and Shenjia village. After the vicissitudes, the soldiers and bandits suffered, and the Yellow river overflowed. The nearby village gradually moved closer to the highland of Jing'an and built a village. It is said that Chengji has a history of four to five hundred years. When Emperor Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty (1506-1522) went out of Beijing to inspect this place, he saw that it was a treasure land of geomantic omen and got off his horse for a rest. Before leaving, an old man who welcomed the emperor came forward to kowtow and asked for a local name. Emperor Zhengde looked at the old man, only a little smile, and then rode on his horse. Although the old man didn't hear the emperor's words, he saw the emperor's smile and the horse's quick action of tightening the saddle. So he had an idea and said to the people, "the emperor has no words, but the horse only smiles. We call it" tightening the saddle. " It is also said that Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River and passed through this place. After a night of "Jing'an", Longyan was very happy. It was named Jing'an. As time goes by, it is called Jing'an, which has been handed down to this day.
