Chengcun town is located in the east of Yangxi County, Guangdong Province, with an area of 196.76 square kilometers (2017) and a total population of 56552 (2017). It is under the jurisdiction of Yangxi County of Yangjiang City. In 1988, Yangjiang City was established and divided into Yangxi county. Chengcun town was officially one of the nine towns under the jurisdiction of Yangxi county (in 2003, Pupai town was abolished).
