In the Qing Dynasty, there were only two main streets parallel to the East and West, with Shihe River as the boundary. Shangtang was called in the north and Xiatang in the south. Shangxiatang was divided into the East and the West. According to Zhu Jingzhi written by Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty, there were hanzhongli, fengxiangli, huiminli, longyuanli, jizhongli, guiyuanli, chengjiage and yongchangxiang in the north of Shihe; Sanyuanli, guangfuxili, guangfudongli, huanzhaoli, wenmingli, Nanhui, Xihui, Bulan, wangjiacun, panyinli, wenshubang, gujiawan and taipingxiang in the south of Shihe.
During the period of the Republic of China, most of the lane names disappeared, and a number of new lane names appeared, such as sanguannong, sujianong, xiyangjianong, dongyangjianong, qijianong, guanyinnong, daoyuannong, Xiaonong, daliongkou and yongchangxiang.
After liberation, the streets changed greatly. The original Shangtang street was divided into Donglin street and Xilin street; Xiatang street was divided into Cangqiao street, Xinhui street, Guangfu street and nanheng street. From the 1950s to the 1960s, dredging the city river, widening the main street and rebuilding part of the pavement made the appearance of the city change. In the late 1970s, according to the urban planning, planned expansion was carried out. In the north side of the old urban area, the city was expanded,
Wan'an street and Xin'an street have been built across the town, Donglin East Street has been extended, and North-South roads have been built and renovated, including Xingfu Road, Luoxing Road, Renmin Road, Dongfeng Road, Chengzhong Road, Tangxi Road, Weisheng Road, Gongyuan Road, Wenhua Road, Jiankang road and Xiuzhou road. They are asphalt and concrete pavement, with sidewalks, green belts and street green spaces on both sides. The Wan'an bridge across Xiuzhou pond in the northwest of the town was first built in the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the bridge was built nine times and failed many times. Since November 1979, relying on the design and construction strength of the county, the largest reinforced concrete arch bridge in the county has been built, which was completed in 1981.
