Yangjing street, belonging to Pudong New Area of Shanghai, is located in the northwest of Pudong New Area, covering an area of 7.38 square kilometers. Yangjing was originally a low-lying coastal beach, formed in the Tang Dynasty. In 1523, Yangjing appeared as the name of Guandu. There are three hundred year old houses in Yangjing street, including Li's house, the former site of Agricultural Bank of China, Minsheng Road wharf, and other national intangible cultural heritages, such as Shanghai embroidery, Jiangnan Silk and bamboo.

Yangjing was originally a low-lying coastal beach, formed in the Tang Dynasty.
In the 29th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1292), Shanghai was set up as a county. Yangjing belonged to the 24bao village of Gaochang Township, Shanghai county, and lasted for the three dynasties of yuan, Ming and Qing.
In the Ming Dynasty, there were shengjiaxing, laoyawo, dongtangjianong, xiajianong and other natural villages in Yangjing. Due to the convenience of river transportation, residential areas of initial scale have been formed in the area of Yangjing town street.
In 1523, Yangjing appeared as the name of Guandu.
In the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 50 natural villages in Yangjing. Because Yangjing port, shengjiabang and other rivers can directly enter Huangpu, there is an endless stream of merchant ships and agricultural boats. With Yangjing Town Street as the center, the city will gradually prosper.
In 1832, the Yangjing port dredged the river to the dam, and the sand ships entered the port from Pu. In 1843, when Shanghai was opened as a port, the British and American colonists set up factories and warehouses on the beach along the Huangpu River in Pudong. On the West Bank of Yangjing port, British merchants Taigu and Yihe set up a stack (commonly known as blue chimney wharf), as well as Hefeng and Yesong shipyards.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the national capitalists set up Ruida and Renji weaving factories, Yuanchang Ribbon Factory and shenbaoji shipyard in Yangjing. The business of Yangjing became increasingly prosperous. The 620 meter long Yangjing street, which runs through the town, became the main road in the center of the town.
In 1909, hetangqiao, Yangjing, Luhang and Gaohang were the autonomous regions of Dongjing Town. The autonomous office was located in Yangjing town.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), the autonomy was disbanded and returned to the government, which was called Yangjing town of Yangjing city.
In 1928, it belonged to Yangjing District of Shanghai.
After the liberation of Shanghai in 1949, a takeover Committee was set up.
Since 1950, it has been Yangjing town in Yangjing District, with four boundaries: Gaomiao Township in the East, Qinyang Township in the west, Jingnan Township in the South and Huangpu River in the north.

In 1960, it was Yangjing town in Chuansha County, bounded by Yangjing people's commune in the East, South and West and Pudong Avenue in the north.
In September 1984, it was transferred to Huangpu District and renamed Yangjing town of Huangpu District.

As of the end of October 2018, there are three hundred year old houses in Yangjing street, including Li's house, the former site of Yangjing Agricultural Bank and Minsheng Road wharf.
Li's residence is located at 34 Jingnan Road, now under the jurisdiction of Yangjing street. The courtyard is adjacent to Yangjing port in the West and Zhangyang road in the south. The owner, Li Shushan, was born into a poor family in Zhangjiawan, lujiadu, Pudong. He has been engaged in ship building and water transportation for many years, and his family business has gradually become prosperous. He started to build the house in April 1933 and completed it in June 1935, with a cost of about 30000 silver yuan.
The existing building area of Li's residence is about 800 square meters. The courtyard is in the shape of "Hui", which is divided into internal and external double layers. The external walls are built with clear water and inlaid with red brick. The south facade is decorated with western style. The interior is a Chinese style courtyard with various flower and bird patterns carved on the door frames and window lattice, and the carved doors and windows are inlaid with colored glass. The facade decoration of this house adopts more western architectural design elements, which reflects the architectural technology at that time and the higher construction level of Jiangnan area. It is a model of modern design and construction technology in Pudong, and also a witness of the spread of western culture in Pudong area. It has high historical aesthetic and research value. In 2009, relevant departments and streets in Pudong New Area restored and renovated the seriously damaged Li's house, which was transformed into a Yangjing cultural exhibition hall.
The former site of Yangjing Agricultural Bank is located at 287 Yangjing town road. It was built in the Republic of China. It used to be a pawnshop, tax office (downstairs) and town government (upstairs). After liberation, it used to be a bank in 1952.
The building covers an area of about 800 square meters, with brick and wood structure. Once in the courtyard, it is a simple and spacious two-story Shikumen style house. The architectural form is the combination of Chinese and western. The words "renju" and "yunzhengxiawei" can be seen on the forehead. Clear water brick wall, clay pattern, door window top, Hill curve smooth, there is Yuanmingyuan style legacy, similar to the Shanghai concession neilinong building at that time.
