Zhijiang West Road Street is located in the middle of Jing'an District of Shanghai, adjacent to Shanghai railway station. Historical evolution

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China

The area was originally the riverbed of Wusong River, which was deposited into reed marshes in the Northern Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, zhujiabang and Zhaojiabang were excavated across the whole territory, and Hongnan Shanzhai and Zhaojiazhai were distributed in the north and south. In 1993, it started from Hetian road in the East, Datong Road in the west, railway in the south, Zhongxing Road to Gonghexin Road in the north and Zhonghua new road in the west, covering an area of 0.58 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 16 neighborhood committees with a population of 14840 households and 43666 people. Its office is located at No. 25, Yongxing Xiaoma road.
