Xianxia Xincun Street

Xianxia new village community (street) is located in the middle of Changning District, starting from Gubei Road in the East, Weining Road in the west, Hongqiao Road in the South and Tianshan Road in the north. The street was established in October 1984 and basically completed in the mid-1990s. It covers an area of 3.97 square kilometers and has 23 neighborhood committees with a total of 84664 people (in 2010).

Xianxia area has convenient transportation and superior geographical location. Metro Line 2 and Metro Line 10 are respectively located in the two wings of Xianxia area. In the area, 54, 71, 72, 88, 127, 700, 737, 757, 836 and other bus lines form a traffic network extending in all directions.

Historical evolution
