Yixiken Township
Yixiken Township, belonging to Tahe County in Daxing'anling area of Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeast of Tahe County, on the right bank of the upper reaches of Heilongjiang Province. It borders on Oupu township of huma County in the East, Oroqen township of Shibazhan in the south, walagan town in the west, kaikukang Township in the northwest and Russia across Heilongjiang in the northeast. From the upper part of the island to the east of longzhan Island, there is a national boundary of 65 kilometers. In 2018, the area was 1891.41 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 1663.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the vice capital of Heilongjiang Province. In the first year of Xuantong (1909), yixikenkalun was set up as the chief card officer of humar River in Heihe Prefecture. In 1912, it was a village under the jurisdiction of huma county. In June 1929, it was returned to Oupu county. In 1931, yixikenka was set up, governing Suian station and wagan village, still belonging to Oupu county. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (March 1947), it was built in Xiken Township and returned to huma county. It belongs to Oupu District, and then to the fourth district. It has jurisdiction over five natural villages: yixiken, longzhan, xindongtun, wagan and Suian. In 1949, villages were changed from villages to villages. In March 1955, Chenxing agricultural production cooperative was established. In February 1956, it was changed into an agricultural production cooperative along the Soviet Union; in July of the same year, yixiken township was set up. In September 1958, it was changed to isiken management area. In July 1963, yixiken commune was established, belonging to huma county. In November 1981, it was assigned to Tahe county. In 1984, it was divided into Xiken rural administrative districts. At the end of 2011, it had jurisdiction over three villagers' committees, namely, yixiken, xindongtun and wagan.
In October 2019, yixiken Township governs three administrative villages.

Yixiken township is located on the right bank of the upper reaches of Heilongjiang Province. It is fist shaped and mainly consists of low mountains and hills. There are small plains along the coast of Heilongjiang Province. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with an average altitude of 200 meters. Xiaoxiergenqi River Basin occupies the western half of the rural area, forming a local landform with crisscross rivers and dense marshes and grass ponds. Mountains and hills account for about 80% of the rural area. There are six peaks in the area, including shuangbaoding, Xiushui mountain and shitoushan. The highest point is at shuangbaoding, with an altitude of 507 meters; the lowest point is 269.8, which is about 1 km west of the fulahan estuary.
