Gongrong Town, subordinate to hailun City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of hailun City, bordering Hainan Township and Houtou township of Suiling County in the East, Sanjing township of Beilin District and Gongliu township of Wangkui County in Suihua City in the south, Haixing Township and Fumin Township in the west, Leye Township and Xiangfu town in the north. The town government is located in Gongrong village. The area is 155.96 square kilometers (2018).

Frost, drought, flood and tornado often occur in Gongrong town. The most serious tornado occurred on May 15, 2010.
