Changxi town
Changxi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Xuanhan County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the north of Xuanhan county and the middle reaches of the middle river. It is more than 60 kilometers away from the county, with a circular area of 186.16 square kilometers, a forest coverage rate of more than 70% and an average altitude of 800 meters. It is a high mountain area.

Changxi, formerly known as "Wudongqiao", was set up as a post station in 1624 A.D., built in 1812 A.D. on the 17th day of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, changed to a township in 1932, and established Changxi Township People's government after liberation in 1949. In March 2004, the original Lizi township was integrated into Changxi township. After village community adjustment, there are 12 villages, 1 rural community and 1 urban community, with a total of more than 9726 households and 30149 people. In December 2015, with the approval of the provincial Party committee and government, it was agreed to cancel Changxi Township and establish Changxi town. The town government is located at No. 15 Yuwang street.

Changxi town governs 14 villages (communities) including sanjiaoba village, yanwoyan village, Shuangshan village, Heishi village, Jiaojiao village, Laolin village, Baiping village, Silu village, Qinggang village, Lizi Village (community), Chaotian village, Banzhai village, jinggou village and Wanyuan community. It borders Baima Township, Huangjin Town, Nanping Township, Xinhua Town, Luowen town and Hualou township of Wanyuan city.

Economic overview
With a total area of 186.16 square kilometers, it is composed of seven streets, with a total length of more than 7 kilometers and a total population of 22367 (2017). In recent years, the township party committee and government take "livable Changxi" as the construction goal, and have successively implemented 2.5km town road hardening, color, greening and lighting on both sides of the road. The original Dongmen farmer's market has been relocated to the newly-built pailiba farmer's market, livable square construction, phase I and phase II construction, Changli Street hardening, chayuanba (expressway exit) style building, and dark Jiagou garbage collection With the construction of landfill and Changxi bus station, the quality of life of residents in the town has been improved significantly. At the end of 2015, the per capita annual net income of the whole town reached 5692 yuan.

The rural infrastructure construction of Changxi town is changing with each passing day. A total of 130 kilometers of cement roads and 65 kilometers of mud gravel roads have been built in the town. In the aspect of animal husbandry development, it mainly focuses on the development of goats, live pigs, Shuxuan huaniu, etc., focusing on the large households leading the farmers. There are three cattle farms that sell more than 100 cattle annually in the town, six sheep farms that sell 500 sheep, and five pig farms that sell 500 pigs.
The main processing industries include grain and oil processing, wood processing, Baijiu brewing and other industries.
In 2015, Changxi town was included in the county's "dual core and eight heavy" center town. New historical opportunities will bring new development to Changxi, and Changxi will have a better future.
