Tiemen Township

Tiemen Township, subordinate to Liangping District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Liangping district. It is adjacent to Daguan town and Jinji town of Zhongxian County in the East, Pushun town of Dianjiang County in the south, Yunlong Town in the West and Helin town in the north. It is 34 kilometers away from the residence of Liangping District People's government, with a total area of 30.66 square meters.

In March 1953, tiemen township was established, which was subordinate to the fourth district; in January 1984, tiemen commune was restored to tiemen township. In 1997, tiemen rural area governed five administrative villages including Changtang, Yingyan, tiemen, Weiya and Laolong, and Hongyan forest farm.

By the end of 2011, tiemen village had jurisdiction over three administrative villages, namely Changtang, tiemen and Xinlong, with 24 villager groups.
