Nenjiang farm

On May 1, 1955, at the southwest foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, the vast henggu wasteland welcomed more than 20 survey and design team members of the former public security department. With the cooperation of Chen CAI and others, they carried out soil and terrain survey on Sangang area of Shuangquan village, Keluo Township, Nenjiang County. On June 25, Hou Fengqi, the first director of the farm, led the advance team to set a fixed point here to announce the formal establishment of Nenjiang farm to the world.

The newly established Nenjiang farm is under the leadership of the reform through labor bureau of the provincial public security department and the Nenjiang County Party committee. On July 12, Nenjiang farm opened the official seal of "local state-owned Nenjiang farm of Heilongjiang Province", with the internal name of "the 21st labor reform and education team of Heilongjiang Province" under the jurisdiction of the Labor Reform Bureau of the Public Security Department of Heilongjiang Province. In January 1959, Nenjiang farm was merged with the neighboring "local state-owned Sangang farm of Heilongjiang Province" (the 27th labor reform and education team of Heilongjiang Province), and collectively referred to as "local state-owned Nenjiang farm of Heilongjiang Province". In 1969, it was under the jurisdiction of Heihe region. On April 15, 1976, the 93 branch of the Provincial General Bureau of land reclamation was established, and Nenjiang farm was under the jurisdiction of 93. On September 15, 1984, Nenjiang farm was under the jurisdiction of the judicial reform through labor bureau. On January 13, 1986, Nenjiang farm reverted to the jurisdiction of Jiusan Bureau of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation. At this point, Nenjiang farm, once again a member of Beidahuang, has become one of the medium-sized modern land reclamation enterprises in China after more than 20 years of hard work, open and enterprising, and courageous struggle with the solid steps of reform, development and innovation.

The beautiful and rich Nenjiang farm, located in the Songnen Plain and the southwest foot of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, was built in 1955. The farm Department vigorously develops the tourism industry, centering on the theme of "waterfront town, charming Nenjiang". Yuanming Lake Park, forest park, lakeside, Jinjiang District, pedestrian street, water stage, Wuhuan square and a series of symbolic cultural and leisure places have been built successively, and a modern ecological garden town in northern alpine region with "city in the forest, scenery in the city and people in the painting" has initially formed. The development and construction of the tourism industry represented by the volcanic wetland rafting project is booming.
