Yaoxinxiang
Yaoxin Township, belonging to duerbert Mongolian Autonomous County of Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of duerbert Mongolian Autonomous County, adjacent to Shuangyushu township of Datong District in the East, Gulong town of Zhaoyuan County in the south, zhangjiayuanzi township of Zhenlai County of Jilin Province across Nenjiang River in the West and Talaha town in the north. In 2018, the area was 463.42 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 22710.
At the end of Qing Dynasty, it was the 40th (fifth) nutuk in duerbert banner. The Republic of China belongs to the fifth ethnic group. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to houxintunpu. In the 35th year of the Republic of China (August 1946), it belonged to the post new nutuk. In the 36th year of the Republic of China (January 1947), it belonged to Guoerluosi rear banner, later to Xintun district; in October of the same year, it belonged to duerbert banner. In the 37th year of the Republic of China (July 1948), it belonged to the Tenth District. In November 1949, it belonged to the ninth district. In May 1955, it belonged to Xintun district. In May 1956, it was divided into three townships: Xintun, Fanshen and Xinglong. In April 1958, Xinglong Township was merged into Xintun Township and Fanshen Township into Talaha township; in September, Xintun, bulahe and Talaha townships were merged into Taiyangsheng commune. In January 1960, it was renamed Talaha commune. In May 1961, the new Tun commune was established in altaha commune. In May 1977, it was renamed Qinghua commune. In December 1981, it was renamed yaoxintun commune. In August 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1985, it had jurisdiction over 13 villages and 22 natural villages. In 2000, 13 villages were merged into 8.
