Nyao Township
Niao Township, belonging to Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Diebu County, with wangzang Township in the East, Dala Township in the southwest, Kaba Township in the West and Sangba Township in the northeast. The area is 242.01 square kilometers. In 2018, 2203 people registered residence.
In 1956, wangzang belonged to xiadiequ, Zhuoni county. In 1959, it was transferred to Kaba commune of longdiexian county. In 1962, it was assigned to Diebu county. In February 1964, nyao township was established. In June 2020, nyao village governs three administrative villages.
In 2011, the total output value of agriculture and animal husbandry in nyao Township increased from 402000 yuan in 1981 to 14.19 million yuan in 2011, an increase of 6.4% over the previous year. The added value of agriculture was 4.54 million yuan, accounting for 31.9% of the GDP. The total output value of animal husbandry was 7.43 million yuan, accounting for 52.4% of the total agricultural output value. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen was 3076 yuan.

The largest river in the territory is jianniqu, which flows from the southern foot of the main peak of Dieshan mountain to the two administrative villages of jianni and ni'ao from north to south, and then flows into Bailong River in the west of ni'ao village, with a total length of 25 kilometers, a drainage area of 246 square kilometers, an annual runoff of 60 million cubic meters and an average annual flow of 2 cubic meters per second.

The main grain crops were wheat, highland barley, beans and corn. 431.4 tons of grain were produced. Among them, 258 tons of wheat, 191 tons of highland barley, 135 tons of beans and 8.4 tons of corn. The main cash crops are Codonopsis pilosula and other traditional Chinese medicine, with a planting area of 120 mu and an output of 27.5 tons.
