Maoxing Lake aquaculture farm
Maoxing Lake aquaculture farm is located on the left bank of downstream Nenjiang River in southwest Heilongjiang Province, south of maoxing Town, Zhaoyuan County. Founded in 1947, under the jurisdiction of Nenjiang fishery company.
After the merger of Heilongjiang Province and Nenjiang Province in 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Fisheries Company, with Zhaoyuan and Damiao fishing grounds. In August 1954, after the merger of songhei two provinces, it was subordinate to Nenjiang aquatic products company of Heilongjiang Province. In 1956, Nenjiang aquatic products company was changed into Zhaoyuan fishing ground, which was transferred to Zhaoyuan County in 1958. In October 1959, Zhaoyuan fishing ground was put under the leadership of the Provincial Fisheries Bureau and renamed maoxing Lake aquaculture farm in Heilongjiang Province. The business area is more than 50 kilometers up and down the Nenjiang River, with a total business area of 227000 mu, including 160000 mu of water area. It is one of the top ten fishery bases in the province with complete production and equipment. In 1991, it produced 2200 tons of commercial fish and 50 million fry. In 1992, there were 458 employees, including 90 technicians.
