Hebei Forestry Bureau was founded in 1972. It was listed as a national key construction project during the sixth Five Year Plan period in 1984. In 1987, it officially passed the national completion acceptance, with a total investment of 139.818 million yuan within the national budget. It became the only large-scale forest industry enterprise listed as a national key project and built according to a reasonable construction period in China.
