Wuji Town, subordinate to Wuji County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Wuji County, bordering Qiji town in the East, zhangduangu town in the south, houfang Township in the west, Dachen town and lichengdao Township in the north, with an administrative area of 57 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence households in Wuji town was 52868.
In 1949, Wuji town belonged to the first district of Wuji County; in 1988, Wuji town was replaced by township. As of June 2020, Wuji town has jurisdiction over 4 communities and 25 administrative villages.
In 2011, Wuji town's total financial revenue was 64.94 million yuan, an increase of 38% over the previous year. History of construction
In 1949, it was the first district of Wuji county.
In 1953, a small township was set up.
In 1956, it was merged into Daxiang.
In November 1958, it was incorporated into Gaocheng county.
In 1959, it was under the management of Chengguan commune.
In January 1962, Wuji county was restored; in the same year, Chengguan commune was established.
In 1983, it was changed into Chengguan Township.
In 1988, the township was removed and Wuji town was established.
