854 farm is a state farm of Heilongjiang General Bureau of agricultural reclamation, which is under the management of Mudanjiang Branch Bureau of agricultural reclamation. It is located in the North Bank of Qihulin River and the south foot of Wanda mountain in Hulin City. The site is 37 kilometers away from Hulin City. The 854 farm was named after the code name of 8504 unit of the railway corps. In May 1956, 8500 farm sent some personnel to set up railway corps 8504 farm in yingmendingzi, which was changed to 854 farm in August of the same year. In January 1963, it was divided into two farms, 854 farm and Wanfeng farm. In the winter of the same year, the two farms were merged into 854 farm.

Historical evolution

In June 1968, the Heilongjiang production and Construction Corps of the Shenyang Military Region of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was established, and the 854 farm was reorganized into the 33rd regiment of the fourth division. In February 1976, the production and Construction Corps was abolished, and the farm system was restored to Yingchun farm. In May 1979, the name of 854 farm was restored. 854 farm is located in Wandashan sub region of Sanjiang Plain, with low mountains and hills in the West and alluvial plain in the East. It has fertile soil and rich natural resources. The total area of 1127 square kilometers, including 660000 mu of arable land, mainly agriculture, and diversified economy. Basic information 854 farm of Heilongjiang Province was founded in July 1956, formerly known as 8504 farm of Heilongjiang Railway Corps, and renamed as 854 farm of Heilongjiang Province on October 30 of the same year.
