Hulin Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hulin City, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the central and southern part of Hulin City, adjacent to Dongcheng Town in the East, Yangmu Township in Mishan City in the south, Baodong town in the West and Xinle Township in the north. The administrative area is 124.31 square kilometers.

History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fourth District of Hulin county. It was the residence of the district office, and later changed to Anle town.
In July 1938, the puppet Hulin County Office moved from Hutou to Anle town and renamed Hulin town.
In August 1939, Hulin street was set up.
In 1945, Hulin district was established.
In 1949, it was renamed the first district.
In 1955, it was changed into Hulin town.
In September 1958, it was merged with Yihe township to form Hulin town commune; in November of the same year, Hulin farm was put into operation.
In February 1962, the field and society separated.
In August 1964, Yihe commune was set up in Yihe, Xigang and other five production brigades.
In 1980, it was changed to Hulin town.
In February 2001, Yihe township was merged into Hulin town.

In 2003, Hulin Town Community Management Committee was set up to work together with Hulin town to take charge of the urban community construction and management function of Hulin town. It has jurisdiction over five communities: dawning, center, Tienan, Xiyuan and Chengdong.
By the end of 2011, Hulin town had five communities: Chengdong, Zhongxin, Shuguang, Xiyuan and Tienan, and 11 administrative villages: Geng Nong, Anle, Zhenxing, Xigang, Huashu, Yihe, Dongsheng, Dongyuan, Yulin, Tonghe and Huanan.
As of October 2019, Hulin town has 5 communities: Chengdong community, central community, Shuguang community, Tienan community, Xiyuan Community, 11 administrative villages: Tonghe village, Huashu village, Yihe village, Xigang village, Dongsheng Village, Huanan village, Yulin village, Dongyuan village, Anle village, Zhenxing village and Geng Village.
