Gannan town
Gannan Town, belonging to Gannan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Gannan county and on the right bank of the middle reaches of Puhe River. It is adjacent to Xingshi town in the East, Changshan Township in the south, Dahewan town in Arong Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the West and xiangyangyu town in Arong Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the north, with a total administrative area of 417.6 square kilometers.
In 1732, Heilongjiang general set up a post station in Gannan town; in March 2001, Hongjian township was incorporated into Gannan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Gannan town was 84302. In 2019, Gannan town governs 8 communities and 12 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed at 147 Minghai road.
In 2018, there were 159 industrial enterprises in Gannan Town, of which 13 were large-scale and 399 were comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1732, Heilongjiang general opened Longhai Road, a post road from Qiqihar city to Hulunbeier City, and set up a post station here. Starting from Qiqihar City, it was ranked as the second station, so it was named "the second station". Guangxu 31 years (1905), set up Ganjingzi famine Bureau.
In 1925, it was changed into a Provincial Administration Bureau in Gannan. In October 1933, Gannan County Office of Heilongjiang Province was established. In December 1945, Gannan district was changed.
In 1961, Gannan district was changed into Gannan town.
In March 2001, Hongjian township was incorporated into Gannan town.
