Beitanzhuang Township, belonging to Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Lingshou County, adjacent to Xingtang County in the East, Ciyu town in the south, chatou town in the West and Xingtang County in the north, with an administrative area of 38.38 square kilometers.
In 1953, beitanzhuang township was set up; in December 1961, Lingshou county was restored; in 1984, beitanzhuang township was restored. In 1953, beitanzhuang township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to the North Tanzhuang management area of Ciyu commune.
In October 1958, it was incorporated into Zhengding County.
In 1961, beitanzhuang commune was established.
In December 1961, Lingshou county was restored.
In 1984, it was restored to beitanzhuang township.
