Chatou Town, belonging to Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Lingshou County, adjacent to beitanzhuang Township in the East, Ciyu town in the south, nanyanchuan Township in the southwest, Chenzhuang town in the west, Fuping County in Baoding City in the north and Xingtang County in the northeast, with an administrative area of 83.15 square meters.

In 1953, xichatou township was set up; in 1984, it was restored to xichatou township; in 1996, xichatou Township and zhainan Township were merged to set up chatou town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Cha tou town was 18643. As of June 2020, chatou town has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, and the people's Government of the town is located at 61 Zhengnan Road, xichatou village.

History of construction

In 1953, xichatou township was established.

In 1958, it belonged to xichatou management area of Chenzhuang commune.

In 1961, xichatou commune was founded.

In 1984, it was restored to xichatou township.

In 1996, xichatou township was merged with zhainan township to establish chatou town.
