Beihe Township
Beihe Township, subordinate to Xingtang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Xingtang County. It is adjacent to chande Township, Quyang County, Baoding City in the East, Nanqiao town in the southeast, Yuting town in the southwest and West, and koufou town in the northwest and North, with an administrative area of 42.17 square kilometers.
In 1938, longxingzhuang Township, xiketou Township and ZHUJIAZHUANG Township, three districts of hexingtang County, were established; in 1962, Xingtang County was restored; in 1984, Beihe township was restored. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the North River Township was 7684. As of June 2020, Beihe township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1, Beiping Road, Beihe village.
In 2011, Beihe Township completed 2.137 million yuan of state tax and 4.64 million yuan of local tax. In 2018, there were four industrial enterprises in Beihe Township, including one above scale and 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1938, longxingzhuang Township, xiketou Township and ZHUJIAZHUANG Township were established.
In 1953, Beihe township was set up; in the same year, the agricultural production mutual aid group was established.
In 1954, primary agricultural production cooperatives were established.
In 1956, a senior agricultural production cooperative was established.
In 1958, it was the North River management area of Shangshang commune.
In 1961, Beihe commune was established.
In 1962, Xingtang County was restored to its original state.
In 1984, it was restored to Beihe township.

The main mineral resources in Beihe township are limestone, leopard skin limestone, bamboo skin limestone, red shale and dolomite, which are distributed in dongketou and xiketou villages, and bentonite is distributed in Nanhe village.
