Shangshangxiang
Shangshang Township, subordinate to Xingtang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Xingtang County. It is adjacent to Yuting Township in the East, Longzhou town and Nanqiao town in the south, Shangbei town and Chengzhai Township across Gaohe River in the west, and koufou town in the north, with an administrative area of 49.09 square kilometers.
In 1949, Shangshang Township belonged to 10 districts of Xingtang County; in 1984, it was changed to Shangshang township; in 1996, zhaoyangguan township was merged into Shangshang township. By the end of 2018, the population of the upper Township registered residence was 26396. As of June 2020, Shangshang township has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Shangshang village.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Shangshang township was 4.6 million yuan. The per capita net income of farmers is 2922 yuan. In 2018, there were three industrial enterprises in Shangshang Township, including one above scale and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
According to the new Annals of Xingtang, "Shangshang was formerly said to be the place for the Jade Emperor to repair the truth. In the Song Dynasty, it was ordered to repair the white stone statues of the temples. After the temple was destroyed, the statues were preserved in the past, but now they are mistaken for Shangfang.".
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was changed to the top.
In 1949, Shangshang Township belonged to 10 districts of Xingtang County.
In 1952, the agricultural production mutual aid group was established.
In 1953, dongjingdi Township and xichengzi Township were established, belonging to five districts of Xingtang County.
In 1954, primary agricultural production cooperatives were established.
In 1956, a senior agricultural production cooperative was established.
In 1958, it was Shangshang commune; in the same year, Xingtang County was abolished and merged into Xinle County, and 12 villages in the Northwest were turned into oral commune.
In 1961, Beihe commune was established in 10 villages in the northeast, gedatou commune in 9 villages, xiyuting commune in 7 villages in the East and zhaoyangguan commune in 11 villages in the southeast.
In 1962, Xingtang County was restored to its original state.
In 1984, it was changed to Shangshang township.
In 1996, zhaoyangguan township was incorporated.
