Yongyuan town
Yongyuan Town, belonging to Daowai District of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the east of Daowai District. It faces Yonghe township of Bin County across Feiketu River in the East, borders Feiketu street of Acheng District in the south, connects Minzhu town and Xiangyang town of Xiangfang District in the west, and Juyuan town in the north. The area is 160.13 square kilometers (2018).

Historical evolution
Yongyuan town was formerly known as talonggou. It is said that in the first year of Daoguang (1821) of the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Daoguang moved the residents on both sides of the Yellow River to reclaim wasteland and set up villages. Because they moved here according to the "imperial edict" and the masses said that they came with the dragon, they named it "talonggou".
In 1908, binzhen district was set up in Binzhou Prefecture of Jilin Province.
In 1909, the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, Yan and Qiu set up Shaoguo here, which was named "yongzengyuan".
In 1916, it belonged to Tianli village, Acheng County, Binjiang province.
In 1933, yongzengyuanbao was set up under the jurisdiction of 21a.
In 1939, Yongyuan village was set up, under the jurisdiction of 5 villages.
In January 1946, it was changed to Yongyuan district.
In January 1949, it merged with Juyuan Township into Shuangyuan district.
In May 1950, the seventh district was established.
In 1956, it was divided into Yongyuan Township and Yonghe Township, and later Yonghe township was merged into Yongyuan township.
In September 1958, it was changed into Yongyuan commune.
In 1960, it was transferred to Taiping District of Harbin and changed into Yongyuan branch of Taiping commune.
In 1962, it was transferred to Acheng county and changed into Yongyuan commune.
In September 1984, it was changed into Yongyuan township.
In March 1985, it was changed into Yongyuan town.
In August 2006, it was assigned to Daowai District.

In 2019, Yongyuan town governs three communities, namely santajie community, Yongliang street community and Zhenxing street community, and 11 administrative villages, namely Yongyuan village, Nangang village, Shuangyuan village, Dongchuan village, Fumin Village, Yongping village, Changxing village, Donghua village, Yonghe village, Yongle Village and Hongjun village.
