Ermu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Dunhua City. It borders qinggouzi town and Yanminghu town in the East, Huangnihe town and Heishi town in the south, Qianjin town and nangangzi town in Jiaohe City in the west, Chonghe town and Shahezi town in Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, Changting town and Jiujie town in Hailin City in the northwest, North and northeast The administrative area is 169.11 square kilometers.
During the Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to Sushen clan; in 1984, EMU township was changed into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Mu Mu was 11532. As of June 2020, the town has 15 administrative villages.

History of construction
During the Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to Sushen clan.
In the Tang Dynasty, Bohai State was established as Lingfeng County of tangzhou, belonging to Xiande Prefecture of Zhongjing.
In the Liao Dynasty, it belonged to the state of Dongdan.
In the Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Huining mansion in Shangjing.
During the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to the office of many households.
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Jianzhou Wei.
In the fifth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1407), there were post roads and post stations (hormuxunluo).
In 1736, the first year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, there was a leading department of EMU horoso, which governed EMU and Dunhua counties.
In 1882, it belonged to Dunhua county.

In 1941, Heishi, Guandi, Tara, ermuso and other places to the east of zhangguangcailing under the jurisdiction of Jiaohe county were assigned to Dunhua county.
In September 1946, Ermu county was set up, which included Huangnihe, Heishi, Guandi, Ermu and shaheyan in the north of Dunhua county.
In March 1948, Ermu county was withdrawn and merged into Dunhua County, and the Tenth District was set up.
In 1956, the tenth village was divided into three townships: EMU, qinggouzi and Minmin.
In 1958, the two townships of e Mu and Min Min merged into e Mu commune.
In 1983, EMU commune was transformed into a township.

The rivers in Ermu town belong to Songhua River system. The main rivers are zhuerduo River, Langlang River, Weihu River, Malu River and Mudanjiang River in the southern border. Except Mudanjiang River, it is a second-class and third-class river. The largest river in the territory is zhuerduo River, which originates from the West foot of Laoyeling, the main peak of zhangguangcai mountain, and flows from north to south to Mudanjiang River, with a flow length of 80 kilometers and a drainage area of 1750 square kilometers.
