Shaheyan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Dunhua City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Dunhua City, bordering Dashitou town in the East and Southeast, Daqiao town in the south, Jiangnan Town in the west, qiuligou town in the northwest and Guandi town in the north, with an administrative area of 281.66 square kilometers.

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a forbidden reclamation paddock; in December 1984, shaheyan township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, 17830 people registered residence in Shahe. As of June 2020, shaheyan town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 22 administrative villages.

History of construction

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a forbidden paddock.

Shaheyan town is located in the eastern half of Dunhua City, belonging to the Xiaobai mountain system of Changbai Mountain.
