Shixian town
Shixian Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tumen City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, is located in the north of Tumen City, bordering Liangshui town in the East, Yueqing town in the south, Chang'an Town and baicaogou town in Wangqing County in the west, and Dongguang town in Wangqing County in the north, with an administrative area of 257.97 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a forbidden reclamation paddock; in 1984, Shixian street and Xinnong Township merged into Shixian town of Tumen City. In 1991, Mudan village, Yongchang village 2 and Mantaicheng village group of Shixian town were assigned to Xinxing township of Wangqing County. In 2006, Shuinan, Xiangyang and xiaga villages of Yueqing town were included. By the end of 2018, the population of Shi Xian town registered residence was 16865. As of June 2020, Shixian town has four communities, 12 administrative villages and one village level unit.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Shixian town was 6831 yuan. In 2018, there were 54 industrial enterprises in Shixian Town, including 8 Enterprises above Designated Size and 16 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a forbidden paddock.
Qing Guangxu 20 years (1894), belongs to Nangang (Yanji) Reclamation Bureau.
In the 28th year of Guangxu (1902) of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chunhua society of yanjiting, the vice capital of Hunchun.
In 1910, it was assigned to Wangqing County.
In 1932, the Baojia system was implemented.
In 1933, Chunhua and Chunrong villages were changed.
In September 1945, gaichunhua district was established.
In May 1948, it was the seventh district of Wangqing County; in July of the same year, it was renamed Shixian District of Wangqing County.
In October 1954, Shixian was divided into Shixian Town, Shuinan town and Yongchang Town.
In September 1958, one town and two townships were merged into Shixian commune of Wangqing County.
In 1965, the commune of Shixian town was established as Shixian street of Tumen City, and the rest of the area was renamed as Xinnong commune, belonging to Wangqing County.
In 1969, the new rural commune was transferred to Tumen City.
In 1983, the new rural commune was transformed into a township.
In 1984, Shixian street and Xinnong Township merged into Shixian town of Tumen City.
In 1991, Mudan village, Yongchang village 2 and Mantaicheng village group of Shixian town were assigned to Xinxing township of Wangqing County.
In 2006, Shuinan, Xiangyang and xiaga villages of Yueqing town were included.

As of June 2020, Shixian town has 4 communities, 12 administrative villages: Shixing community, Shisheng community, Shirong community, Shiyuan community, Lulu village, Yongchang village, Hebei village, Chunhua village, Dongxing village, Shixian village, Shuinan village, Xiangyang Village, xiaga village, Songlin village, shanglongcheng village, xialongcheng village, and another village level unit: Tumen economic development zone. The town people's government is located in Chunhua village.
