Beizheng town
Beizheng Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changling County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Changling County, 60 kilometers away from Changling County; it borders santuan Township in the East, 88 Township in the south, taipingchuan town and Tongyu County in the west, and No. 30 Township in the North. The total administrative area is 407.32 square kilometers.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Changfeng township; in 2005, it set up taipingchuan town in Liuheyuan village. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in North Zheng town was 21838. As of June 2020, 10 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Beizheng town.
In 2011, the total revenue of Beizheng town was 20 million yuan, including 1.3 million yuan of local revenue.
History of construction
In the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, it belonged to Changfeng township; in 1919, it was changed to the Tenth District; in 1930, it belonged to the seventh district; in 1938, it belonged to beizhengzhen village; in 1946, it belonged to shuangchangliao Central County, it belonged to the ninth district; in 1947, it belonged to Changling County.
In 1958, Shuiyue township was established; in February, it was renamed Beizheng township; in September, it was merged with YaoJingzi and santuan township to form Jinxing commune; at the end of the year, it was renamed Beizheng Township commune.
In 1961, it was re divided into Beizheng town commune.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1994, it was changed to Beizheng town.
In 2002, qicuo township was incorporated.
In 2005, Liuheyuan village was established as taipingchuan town.
