Taohaotai Township, belonging to qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the middle of qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, 25 kilometers away from the people's Government of qianguoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County; it borders on ERU Township in the East, baiyilaga Township, Hongguang farm and lianhuapao farm in the north, Baodian Township in the south, Hongxing ranch in the West and Chagan Lake in the northwest At the junction of town. History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it was a Mongolian Nomadic land; in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, Han immigrants moved here to cultivate; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to gongnutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner.
In 1937, it was the first nutuk (District). In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to taohainutuk (District). In 1945, it belonged to jilatu district. In November 1946, 10 villages in the west of jielatu district were divided into Liangjiazi district.
In March 1956, it was divided into three townships: Geshu, taohutai and Gudian, belonging to taohutai and Gudian.
In April 1958, the three townships of Gudian, taohutai and jiucaituozi were merged into taohutai township; in October, they were changed into taohutai commune.
In 1981, it was renamed taohaotai commune.
In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In October 1988, Baodian township was established in eight villages.
