E Ruxiang
Erru Township, which belongs to the former guoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County of Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of the former guoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County, 25 kilometers away from the people's Government of the former guoerlos Mongolian Autonomous County. It borders wangfuzhan town in the East, Hongquan Township in the south, Baodian Township in the southwest, taohaotai Township in the west, baiyilaga Township in the north and jilatu Township in the northeast. The total administrative area is 183.04 square kilometers.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, the Han people moved here one after another to cultivate and form settlements; in February 2014, Dashan township was renamed Erru township. By the end of 2018, the population of Ru township has 19034 registered residence. As of June 2020, 11 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of ERU township.
In 2011, the gross output value of agriculture in Erlu township was 470 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6300 yuan. By the end of 2018, there were 3 industrial enterprises and 57 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, the Han people moved here one after another to cultivate. The number of households increased year by year, forming many settlements. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to gongnutuk (District) of Guoerluosi Front Banner.
In the 26th year of the Republic of China (1937), it belonged to the first nutuk (District); in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to gahanzabu and daqingtuozi nutuk (District); in the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), bolahu, beiguzi, ERU, shanggushu, xiagushu, beituozi and Shuangyushu belonged to Liangjiazi (District), Dashan, taipingchuan, Tuchengzi and Zhuanchang It belongs to Hongquan district (ten districts).
In March 1956, 11 villages were merged into Dashan township.
In October 1958, it was changed into Dashan (Dongfanghong) commune.
In October 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.
In February 2014, Dashan township was renamed Erru township.

Erru township was originally named Dashan township. When the wasteland was built, there was a round earth mountain in the northeast of the site. After the settlement, it was named "mantushan", and the name of "Dashan" was changed from "damantushan"
