Qiongbola Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County, Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County, with jiagastai Township in the East, Zhaosu County across Wusun mountain in the south, Republic of Kazakhstan in the west, aixinseli town in the north and sunzaqi Niulu Township in the northeast, with a total administrative area of 417.04 square kilometers.
In 1938, it was divided into two districts; in 1984, it was changed to qiongbola township. In June 2018, qiongbola township was withdrawn to build a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 9439. In June 2020, qiongbola town governs four administrative villages.
In qiongbola Town, wheat is the main food crop, and sheep, cattle and poultry are the main animal husbandry. In 2018, there are 25 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in qiongbola town.
