Wohu town
Wohu Town, belonging to Shuangliao City, Siping City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Shuangliao City and the southern edge of Horqin grassland. It borders Yongjia Township in the East, Hongqi Town and Liaodong street in the south, Bayantala town in Inner Mongolia in the west, and glassy mountain town and sheep breeding farm in the north. The area is 287.44 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 34049.
In May 1946, it belonged to Wohu District of Shuangliao county and was stationed in xielibadtun (xielitun). In 1947, it was assigned to the Ninth District of Shuangliao county. In March 1956, the ninth Village was divided into three townships: Wohu, zuoling and Tushan. In September 1958, the three townships were merged into Wohu commune. In November 1983, the commune was transformed into a township. In November 1984, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Wohu town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 19 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises in Wohu Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 40 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution

In 1927, it belonged to Shuangshan and Liaoyuan counties. Xiliao River, originally in the territory of Wohu, is a tributary of Laoha River and Erguna River in the northwest Mongolian Plateau. It flows through Inner Mongolia, passes through Zhengjiatun Xiliao River railway bridge, and joins with Dongliao river at Sanjiangkou in Changtu County, Liaoning Province, and then flows into Bohai Sea at the management estuary. Qinghe River is the west boundary river of Wohu town and the heilongba tributary of Hulunbuir plateau. It enters from the northwest of xinglongtun in Tongle village, flows through the west of Tongle, Wuxing, Wohu, Dongxing, Tushan, Dongfanghong and other villages, and flows into Xiliao River from dayoutun in front of Shanchang through Qinghe bridge of railway.
