Kaian town
Kaian Town, belonging to Nong'an County, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of Nong'an county. It faces Qiangang Township and Wanbao town of Kuancheng district across Yitong River in the East, Helong town of Kuancheng District in the south, Longwang Township in the West and Huajia town across Xinkai River in the north. It is 30 kilometers away from Nong'an County, with a total area of 97 square kilometers.
In the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, Kaian town belonged to the lower ninth class of hengyuxiang in Changchun hall; in November 1984, it was changed from Kaian commune to Kaian town. By the end of 2018, the population of Kai an town registered residence was 27083. As of June 2020, Kaian town has one community and 23 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Kaian town is located in the west of Kaian street railway.
In 2018, there are 15 industrial enterprises in Jinshan Town, including one above scale and 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the reign of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the ninth class of hengyuxiang in Changchun hall. Qing Xuantong three years (1911), is Hengtai township.
Kaian village was set up in the period of northeast occupied. In 1946, it was stationed in Changchun county. In 1947, it belonged to ten districts of Changnong county. In August 1949, it was divided into 13 districts.
In October 1952, it belongs to Nong'an county.
In 1957, it belonged to four townships in Kai'an district.
In 1958, Kaian and Liujia townships were merged into Kaian commune.
In 1961, Kaian commune established Liujia commune.
In November 1984, Kaian commune was changed into Kaian Town, and Liujia commune was changed into Liujia town.
In July 2000, Liujia town was merged into Kai'an town.
