Hexin town
Hexin Town, belonging to Luyuan District of Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the northwest of Luyuan District, adjacent to Lanjia town in the East, Daling town of Gongzhuling City and Shaoguo town of Nong'an County in the west, Chengxi town and Xixin town in the south, and Helong town of Nong'an County in the North. It is 15 kilometers away from the people's Government of Luyuan District, with a total area of 82.02 square kilometers.
In 1949, Hexin town was divided into 13 districts, 14 districts and 16 districts of Changchun County; in 1993, Hexin town was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 22016. As of June 2020, Hexin town has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Hexin town is located at 3788 Changbai Road, Sanjian village.

History of construction
In 1949, it was divided into 13, 14 and 16 districts of Changchun county.
In 1952, it was divided into the eighth District, the Tenth District and the Second District of Changchun City.
In 1955, it was under the jurisdiction of fanjiadian district office.
In March 1958, it was assigned to Yitong Township, a suburb of Changchun City; in September of the same year, it was assigned to Shuguang commune, a suburb of Changchun City.
In 1961, Shuguang commune established Hexin commune.
In 1983, Hexin commune was changed into Hexin township.
