Linglongta Town, belonging to Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Jianchang County, adjacent to xiaodeyingzi Township in the East, bashihan Township in the south, nangongyingzi town in Chaoyang City in the West and youzhangzi Township in the north, with an administrative area of 123.84 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, linglongta town belonged to panlingpai; in 1995, linglongta town was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Linglong town was 24098. As of June 2020, linglongta town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in linglongta village.
In 2018, linglongta town has 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In Qing Dynasty, linglongta town belonged to Panling brand.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the bailing brand.
In 1931, it belonged to the first district of Lingnan Administrative Bureau.
In 1934, it belonged to Xinkailing village, the first district of the puppet Lingnan.
In 1945, there were four villages.
At the end of 1946, the people's Republic of China was liberated.
In 1961, linglongta commune was established.
In 1983, linglongta commune was transformed into a township.
In 1995, linglongta township was changed from township to town.

In 1961, linglongta commune had 13 production teams: maozhangzi, huangzhangzi, linglongta, baitazi, yangshugou, Fangshen, Wapenyao, Shengli, hongcaogou, gaozhangzi, heisangou, Daxishan and pingfangzi.
In 2003, Wapenyao and Fangshen were merged into Fangshen village, Shengli and heishangou were merged into Shengli village, gaozhangzi village was renamed gaojiazhuang village, pingfangzi village was renamed xiaohedong village, and 11 administrative villages were administrated after the merger.
By the end of 2011, linglongta town had jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages: maozhangzi, huangzhangzi, linglongta, gaojiazhuang, hongcaogou, Shengli, Daxishan, xiaohedong, baitazi, Fangshen, yangshugou, and 65 natural villages.
