Jiabeiyan Township, belonging to Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Suizhong County, adjacent to qiuzigou Township in the East, yonganbao Township and Funing County in Hebei Province in the south, Qinglong Manchu Autonomous County in Hebei Province in the West and Jianchang County in the north, with an administrative area of 226.08 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, Suizhong was divided into eight districts, and jiabeiyan belonged to five districts; in 1983, jiabeiyan township was changed from she township to jiabeiyan township; in 2004, wangjiadian township was merged into jiabeishi township. History and culture
In the ninth year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1731), Wang family moved to Jiancun village from Wangzhuang, Funing, Hebei Province. Because the west of Jiabei road is an upright mountain, and the east of the road is a steep rock with a width of only two meters in the middle, it is a traffic pass, so it is called mingjiabei rock. During the reign of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty (1821-1850), local people made a convention for forest protection and fire prevention, which was engraved on the stele and erected on Jiabei rock, so Jiabei rock was homonymous as Jiabei rock.
