Zhentou Street

Zhentou street, belonging to Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Qiaoxi District, adjacent to Minxin River and Xinshi street in the East, Luquan District in the South bounded by the Third Ring Road in the south, Luquan District in the West and Jianguo Road in the north, with a total area of 17.6 square kilometers.

In November 1947, it was Zhentou Town, the Fifth District of Shimen city; in August 1996, it was renamed zhentou street; in April 2001, it was assigned to Qiaoxi District. As of June 2020, zhentou street has jurisdiction over 14 communities and 3 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at No. 339, Hongqi South Street.

History of construction

In November 1947, it was Zhentou Town, the Fifth District of Shimen city.

In February 1954, it was founded in the suburb of zhentou town.

In September 1955, it was changed into Zhentou district.

In February 1956, Zhentou township was established.

In September 1958, shiliyin village, gongjiazhuang and dongliangxiang of Huolu county were included.

In May 1959, it was changed into zhentou commune.

In January 1962, Zhentou district was divided into eastern suburb and western suburb, belonging to western suburb.

In April 1994, it was entrusted to the high tech Development Zone.

In July 1996, it was zoned back to the suburbs.
