Luofugou Township
Luo Fu Gou Township, belonging to Jianping County, Chaoyang City, Liaoning, is located in the northeast of Jianping County, east of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hui Han banner, Xinhui Town, South to kalqin Town, West to Jianping Town, north to Ma Chang town, and 188.06 square kilometers in area, and 11211 registered residence population as of 2018.
In 1929, it belonged to the first district of Jianping County, where luofugou township was set up. In July 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of the commune was established, which has jurisdiction over 11 brigades. In August 1999, the township was merged into the town, and luofugou township was merged into Machang township. In December 2000, it was set out from the racecourse to restore luofugou township. As of June 2020, luofugou has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
At the end of 2011, luofugou Township had 32 commercial outlets and 138 employees; the total sales of social goods reached 20 million yuan, an increase of 30% over the previous year; the turnover of urban and rural fair trade was 5 million yuan, an increase of 17% over the previous year.
Historical evolution
In 1929, it belonged to the first district of Jianping County, where luofugou township was set up.
On August 14, 1945, Jire liaojun District liberated Jianping area. Luofugou was under the jurisdiction of Machang district.
In 1946, it was ruled by the Kuomintang.
In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), Jianping County was liberated for the second time and its original system was restored.
From 1947 to 1956, four village offices were established in luofugou.
In October 1958, the marketing system was abolished and the communization was carried out. Luofugou was abolished and transferred to Machang commune.
In May 1961, luofugou was transferred from Machang commune to establish luofugou commune, which has jurisdiction over six brigades.
