Dongwankou Township
Dongwankou township is located 45 kilometers northeast of Chicheng County, adjacent to Beijing, Sandaochuan, Baicao and ciyingzi townships in the East, Guyuan County in the north, longmensuo and Yunzhou in the West. There are 22 administrative villages and 39 natural villages in the township, with a total control area of 283.59 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 26000 mu. There are Han nationality, Mongolian nationality and Manchu nationality. The Mongolian nationality accounts for about 5% of the total population of the township, and the Manchu nationality accounts for 1 ‰ of the total population of the township. During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chahar Xianghuang Banner. In the second year of the Republic of China, it belonged to Rehe. When the Japanese occupied it, it belonged to Fengning County, Rehe Province, puppet Manchuria. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Chicheng County, Chahar Province. Now it is Chicheng County, Hebei Province. Later, it merged with qingyanggou Township, named dongwankou township.
The township is surrounded by mountains. Heihe River, one of the three rivers in Chicheng County, runs through the whole township. It is one of the main sources of drinking water in Beijing. Between the valleys, there are undulating mountains and large mountainous areas. The average altitude of the township is 840 meters, and the terrain inclines from north to Southeast. It belongs to the East Asian continental monsoon climate. The extreme temperature in winter is about minus 17 ℃, the extreme temperature in summer is about minus 35 ℃, and the annual average temperature is 8.8 ℃. The annual average rainfall is 459 mm, with four distinct seasons and large temperature difference between day and night.

The main crops are corn, rice, millet, yam, flax, rapeseed, naked oats, beans, etc. The main livestock products are cattle, sheep, pigs, etc. The irrigation area is 7000 mu. main enterprise: Chicheng brewing branch of Shiji Baodian liquor company, located in tangziying village. Maotai Town, Guizhou Province was introduced to invest in the construction. With fixed assets of more than 5 million yuan and annual production capacity of 450 tons, it has become a medium-sized professional liquor making company integrating production, supply and marketing. Now we produce 4 series and 18 varieties of high, medium and low-grade century Baodian series wine. In the township, there is Tangzimiao hot spring, the second largest hot spring in Chicheng County
