Shuangmiaozi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changtu County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Changtu County, adjacent to Quantou Town, XIAERTAIZI Town, Maojiadian Town, fulushu town and Taiping Town, with an administrative area of 84.32 square kilometers.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fifth District of Changtu County; in 1990, it was changed to Shuangmiaozi town. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in Shuang Miao Zi town was 19652. As of June 2020, Shuangmiaozi town has one community and eight administrative villages.

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it was the Fifth District of Changtu County.

In 1947, it was Shuangmiaozi Township, belonging to the eighth District of Changbei county.

In 1961, Shuangmiaozi commune was established.

In 1983, Shuangmiaozi township was changed.

In 1990, it was changed to Shuangmiaozi town.
