Pingdingpu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tieling County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province, is located in the north of Tieling County, bordering xiongguantun town in the East, Yinzhou District in the southwest, Xibao town across the Liaohe River in the West and Zhonggu town in Kaiyuan city in the north, with an administrative area of 83.86 square kilometers.
In 1948, it belonged to six districts; in 1985, it was changed to pingdingpu town. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in Ping Ding Town was 19926. As of June 2020, pingdingpu town has one community and nine administrative villages.
In 2011, the financial revenue of pingdingpu town was 43.88 million yuan, an increase of 51.8% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in pingdingpu Town, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 13 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction

History and culture
Pingdingbao, formerly known as pingdingbao, was one of the eastern Liaoning border fortresses in Ming Dynasty. Because the mountain top in the east of the village is relatively flat, the village is called pingdingbao, or pingdingbao for short.
