Ximalin town
Ximalin Town, belonging to Wanquan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Wanquan District, adjacent to beixintun Township and gaomiaobu Township in the East, Jiubao Township in the south, jiashihe Township and Xiaosuangou town in Shangyi County and Dahe Township in Zhangbei County across the Great Wall in the West and North. It is 27.4km away from the people's Government of Wanquan District, with a total area of 138.58km2.
During the period of the Republic of China, ximalin town belonged to Wuwei Town, four districts of Wanquan County; in March 1984, the commune of ximalin town was changed into ximalin town and Yulingou township; in January 1996, Yulingou township was merged into ximalin town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 9712 people in the town of Mount Marin. As of June 2020, ximalin town has one community and 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in ximalin village.

In August 1956, it was divided into ximalin town and yulinggou township.
In August 1958, ximalin commune was established.
In March 1984, the commune of ximalin town was changed into ximalin town and Yulingou township.
In January 1996, yulinggou township was merged into ximalin town.
In 2016, ximalin town was transferred to Wanquan district.
