Helan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Liaoyang County, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Liaoyang County. It is connected with Tianshui Manchu Township in the East, Xiuyan Manchu Autonomous County in Anshan City in the south, xiadahe Township in the West and Gongchangling District in the north, with an administrative area of 421.3 square kilometers.
In 1947, Helan and Xiaodonggou were a village belonging to Liaoyang County. On September 26, 1984, Helan town was changed. By the end of 2018, 23599 people had registered residence in He Lan town. As of June 2020, 16 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Helan town.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Helan town was 12.01 million yuan, an increase of 38% over the previous year. The tax revenue is 15.2 million yuan. In 2018, there are two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Helan town.
History of construction
In 1947, Helan and Xiaodonggou were a village belonging to Liaoyang County.
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County.
In 1961, it was divided into two villages, Helan and Xiaodong.
In 1969, Liangjia commune was merged into Helan commune.
On October 25, 1983, Helan commune was transformed into Helan township.
